Years ago we researched all kinds of sea salts to find the healthiest and purest. We also wanted a sea salt that was from America! We were thrilled to find this healthy sea salt that is pure, unrefined, and has over 60 trace minerals.
It is from the Salt Lakes and has not been processed in any way. Sea salt that is mined from salt lakes or from oceans are pulled out of the water, left to sit on the shore, and the sun evaporates the water. Therefore, leaving only pure, natural sea salt. Most table salts are mined under the ground and therefore need to be purified which extracts the minerals from the salt.
