Is Sea Salt Important?

Did you know that consuming enough sea salt could make you feel better?

Sea salt comes from one of two places: the sea or salt lake, or mined from underground salt deposits. The latter is the typical table salt and is more heavily processed eliminating needed minerals and usually contains additives to prevent clumping.

Salt from the sea or salt lakes is produced through evaporation and is not processed, therefore leaving beneficial trace minerals. This natural way of getting sea salt,

without any altering, allows the salt to have all of its beneficial and natural components that your body needs in order to be healthy.

Sea salt is laden with minerals like magnesium, calcium, potassium, iron, zinc and iodine.
And by the way, if you suffer from Restless Leg Syndrome I’ve read that it’s possible you may have a magnesium deficiency.

However, if you consume the right sea salt that comes from the lakes or ocean, then you’re receiving the magnesium in your diet to help rid you of that irritating condition.

  • is an immune system builder
And last but not least, Sea salt also has shown to be effective in treating various types of depression. The salt helps to preserve two essential hormones in the body that help you to better deal with stress. I’d say these are great reasons to add a healthy sea salt to your diet!
